Set Up a QR Menu Customers Order From in 5 Minutes (No Per-Order Fees)
A small shop can have the same QR menu as the big chains — without hiring anyone to build it, buying hardware, or letting a platform take GP commission on every order. Bunchee 2.0 adds a QR menu to the restaurant accounting app you already use, and it's now live on both the App Store and Google Play. Snap your paper menu, stick QR codes on the tables, and orders come straight to your phone.
Step 1 — Photograph your paper menu
Open the Menu screen in the app, tap Scan menu from photo and take a picture of your paper menu or the menu board out front. If your menu is long, you can shoot several photos at once. AI reads every dish name and price on the page and sorts them into categories for you — you just check it and tap save.
Then fine-tune it however you like: add food photos, write descriptions, add toppings (e.g. fried egg +10) and turn on Ask for spice level so customers choose for themselves. Toppings that go with every dish, like a fried egg or extra rice, can be set once as your shop's "standard toppings" and switched on dish by dish.
Step 2 — Publish and print QR codes for your tables
Tap Publish and your shop gets its own link, such as bunchee.app/m/your-shop, plus one QR code for online or takeaway orders.
Want to know which table an order came from without walking over to ask? Set the number of tables and tap Print QR for all tables to get a printable page with one card per table. When a customer scans, the table number is filled in automatically.
Step 3 — Customers order themselves, orders pop up in the app
Customers scan the QR code and the menu opens instantly in their browser — no app to download, no sign-up. They pick dishes, add toppings, choose a spice level and send the order. You get a notification in the app with the full order, and you can accept it, edit items or combine bills for the same table, all from your phone.
At payment time, the customer sees your shop's PromptPay QR for the exact order total and scans to pay, straight into your bank account. When you tap "Payment received", the amount is automatically recorded as income in your shop's books — your menu and your accounts live in the same place.
What you get for free, with no extra work
- Menu translation for tourists — one tap and AI translates dish names, descriptions and toppings into English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Customers pick their language on the menu page.
- Cost per dish — enter the ingredients for each dish and the app works out its cost and food cost % from the ingredient prices you've already recorded in your books.
- Customer order history — customers can check the status of their own orders and save their history with an email address to view it from any device.
- Phone number for takeaway orders — orders that don't come from a table ask for a phone number, so you can call the customer straight from the app.
